"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

First of all, Saturday one of our dogs, Skeeter went outside with my grandpa and dad while they were working on the big tractor, getting ready to feed the horses (it's normal for him to follow them outside). Anyways, when the guys came back in grandma realized Skeeter wasn't with them. So grandpa went looking and found him on the ground in our backyard. First we thought he collapsed from the heat and couldn't get up because he was weak, but we waited all of Saturday and he still couldn't hardly use his hind legs, all he could do was weakly scoot around with his front feet. He only drank and ate a little then. That night I went to visit Sara and Matt and hung out with them since I wanted to borrow the next book in the Fever series. Later dad called and said they were all going to take Skeeter to the emergency vet and they picked me up on the way home from the vet. Skeeter was sedated and sat quietly on my lap the whole ride. Turns out he has cancer, but they couldn't figure out what was wrong with his legs unless we got him an x-ray and other stuff which would have cost us too much, so it was decided to take him home to see if he'd recover. His backlegs are swollen, bruised up and sore, and grandma said there was a small pink mark in the middle of the bruising, so I wonder if something bit or stung him and his body just couldn't cope. But after yesterday, he still got no better, and has drank less and not eaten at all, so it was decided tonight that when the vet opens, we'd take him to be put down. He's 13 years old and he's just not recovering, and we can't stand to see him suffer any longer. I know I'm going to be crying a lot...
Also last night, we got hit by a powerful thunderstorm that blew some huge tree branches from a tree in our back yard, over our house and onto the roof, front yard, and onto grandma's car. So far the damage seems minimal, but we won't know until the sun rises. But that all prevented dad and I from visiting mom and giving her more beads to craft jewelry with. I really wanted to see her...
The only good news is that I've been working on my to-do list, getting the easiest stuff done first, and I've been sketching for the first time it what seems like ages XP still haven't touched my tablet though, I last fiddled with it like what seems like months ago

Yep it be me, went through a few name changes after some drama last summer. Ohh I remember you, and I remember your HidaShika story are you every going to finish it? Yeah it's getting a little more exposure, but it could be bigger Everything's on auto pilot for me right now, since I'm dealing with my mom's condition worsening and with the finals in my college semester. I've been having to do so much in school that I don't have much time for my own art as of late, it's all been going towards college. How about you?
Something similar I suppose. I've been in limbo waiting to see if my mom got this job which decides whether or not I can go to college since I can't find a job, heh. Sorry to hear that about your mom D: Forgive me, it's been a while, what's her condition again? Y'know, with me being in limbo and all, with no real responsibilities, I could help with the group and other art related things if you like. I know I was a bit of a flake before, but there was a lot going on, in and out of the fandom, and I'd like to think I've matured a lot since then ^^' If anything I just need something to do, I really mean I have no responsibilities and I've lost touch with all my friends and I am really restless. Anyway, I hope everything's ok with your mom, and it's good to hear you're working hard, even if it seems like a drag(heh). Just let me know if I can help at all : )
ohhh I see, what are you planning to get a degree in? I'm going for my associates in graphic design, might have to go for my bachelor's afterward if no work turns up though Well she's in a nursing home, has been there since like 2009 or 2010, not quite sure just how long. Anyways, just since the end of last year/beginning of this year her balance has been getting worse and in the span of a few months, she's went from using a cane, to a walker, to using a wheel chair, and now they have a thing on her bed that alerts the nurses if she tries to get out of bed, that way they can help her. She was a smoker for a long time, but she just quit this last year, but she still has COPD and is supposed to be on oxygen 24/7. She's just really losing her functions lately and I'm really, REALLY worried about her and it's been stressing me out. I understand that, we've all been in limbo at one point or another, but I'd really enjoy if you could help out with the group. Basically I need someone that can help out with contests by donating prizes (be it art, points, subs, etc.) and it doesn't have to be extravagant, but if that sounds like too much I could have you join and just help with art submission/affiliate requests. It's up to you and what you think you can help manage She's still got like fight and stubbornness in her so that's good to see, it's like when that spark goes out, I'm going to be in a panic :S thanks and while working it's a drag, but it's nice to see the end result ^^ Let me know what you can do~
